Use a microphone for an authorized conversation, upload a recording, or paste a transcript or manual notes. Start from the “Record this meeting” button in your signed-in workspace.
Separate audiences
Prepare a client or participant recap, internal advisor notes, operations instructions and a follow-up email draft. Review and edit each version before using it.
Action items with context
Review proposed responsibilities, dates, service silos and supporting words from the meeting. Keep client actions distinct from internal team tasks.
Approve KAT CRM changes
With CRM access, select the correct contact and approve a meeting note, internal tasks or individual contact updates. See the current and proposed contact values before making changes.
Pick up where you left off
View recent CRM activity and open contact tasks before the next conversation. Choose a meeting template for a client review, planning discussion, insurance review or operations meeting.
Private notes you can revisit
Save a draft or reviewed meeting to your private history. Reopen it and download editable Word advisor notes with action items, responsible parties and due dates, or a separate client recap that excludes internal notes. Copy the recap or print it to PDF.

What to expect
Will it join Teams, Zoom or Google Meet automatically?
No. Start recording in KAT yourself. It records through your device’s microphone. To capture other participants, their voices must be audible through your computer speakers or phone speakerphone; headphones generally prevent the microphone from capturing them. Capture quality varies. For more reliable results, upload an authorized recording from your meeting platform. Obtain required participant consent before recording.
Will it email clients or change CRM records automatically?
No. It creates drafts for your review. You decide what to copy or share. CRM notes, tasks and contact updates require an explicit selection and approval.
Who sees my notes?
Your meeting history is private to your signed-in account. If you approve a copy into a CRM contact’s record, authorized members of that CRM workspace can see the activity and tasks. There are no public transcript links in this version.
Do I need KAT CRM?
KAT CRM is required to attach approved meeting notes, tasks and contact updates to a client’s CRM record. Without CRM, an authorized Workstation subscriber can still record, upload, write, review and save private meeting notes within Meeting Intelligence.
Can Meeting Intelligence prepare an editable client-ready meeting recap?
Yes. Review and edit the client / participant recap separately from internal advisor and operations notes. Once AI processing is configured, it can draft a recap of the discussion, decisions and next steps from your meeting. You can also write the recap manually now. Use Download client recap Word for an editable .docx draft, or print / save the recap as PDF. Download advisor notes Word separately for internal notes, action items, responsible parties and due dates. Review the client recap before sharing; the client download excludes internal advisor and operations notes. Nothing is emailed automatically; the advisor reviews and sends the final version.
Are AI transcription and summaries ready to use?
AI processing is currently awaiting administrator service configuration and end-to-end validation. Manual note entry and saving are available. Check the signed-in tool’s current status before relying on AI output.
What are the recording and storage limits?
Audio uploads are limited to 24 MB or the site’s lower upload limit. Long recordings may need to be split. Download local recordings before leaving the page; this version does not store raw audio. Transcripts are saved only if you select that option.
Does this replace our compliance archive?
No. Meeting Intelligence helps with documentation and follow-up. It is not a certified retention archive or a guarantee of regulatory compliance. Follow your firm’s recording, privacy, supervision and recordkeeping policies, and review all AI-generated material.
